Year 2 of The Days of #KWAwesome were bigger and better than 2014, with 19 amazing festivals in 7 weeks. here are some of the best sights.
Canada Day rocked! We amped it up this year with three headliners - Hollerado, Fefe Dobson & Treble Charger - and the always epic fireworks spectacle.
The biggest street party in Waterloo Region had it's 25th anniversary!
DTK hosted its biggest Night Market ever, with more than 40 artist and artisan vendors, live music under the stars at Roos Island, live drawing with James Nye, lantern building with Michelle Purchase and even an epic dragon!
DTK's best summmer networking party took over Hall's Lane again, hosted by Perimeter Developments, Thalmic Labs & Vidyard
The community "Ignited the Night" with dance parties on King Street (top left), board game parties (top right), live music everywhere, a see of people (bottom left) and engaging art installations (bottom right).
KW's biggest food truck fest was an all day culinary celebration featuring everything from Wild Boar and Bacon Poutine to Korean Pork Tacos
Big Music Fest broght four days of action to King Street, including live performances by Jully Black & LEe HARVeY OsMOND, Family Day with illusionist Scott Hammell and local silly guy Phil LeConte, plus Breaking Films with a late night orchestral screening of Night of the Living Dead
King Street was transformed into a legit velodrome as hundreds of elite speed racers wound their way through the core in our own Tour de DTK.
Mandy Bujold lit the caldron as KW officially welcomed the Pan Am Games.
