We condensed all of the feedback, survey results and ideas into one easy-to-read document. -- HAVE A LOOK
Yes that's a lot of comments and sticky notes! We value and reviewed every comment made. If you would like to see a copy of the comments, contact Emily Robson, Interim Manager of Downtown Development, City of Kitchener: firstname.lastname@example.org (519)741-2200 ext 7084.
We conducted four different surveys. Here are the results! SEE WHAT OTHERS HAD TO SAY
Based on all of the community's input, we drafted a new vision for Downtown, including three strategic priorities:
1. Ignite Downtown as a platform for the next generation of urban shops, restaurants, businesses & services.
2. Foster heartfelt urban experiences
3. Champion a caring & collaborative community
Here's the strategy: Shaping DTK - A Vision for 2020
We want to know what you think of the draft strategy. Did we capture the community's thoughts, feelings and desires correctly? Do the proposed priorities reflect what you said? Do they reflect your vision and hope for DTK's future? Here's how you can share your thoughts:
The community and downtown businesses are invited to attend an open house where we'll share the results of the community consultation, explain the draft strategy, and be on hand to answer questions, and hear your commens, ideas and feedback.
When - Wednesday, April 26th, 6pm - 8pm
Where - Kitchener Public Library Theatre at the Central Branch, 54 Queen Street South
Who can attend - everyone is welcome to attend. No tickets or RSVPs are required.
Format - the open house is an informal drop-in session. Drop by anytime between 6pm and 8pm.
