Breithaupt Block

Perimeter Development Corporation — a Toronto area developer plans to transform the former Collins and Aikman plant — located at Breithaupt and King in downtown Kitchener — into "the evolution of the workplace" a creative work environment. This development is one of the latest projects transforming the Downtown's Warehouse District, which also includes the Kaufman Lofts, Tannery District and UW Health Science Campus developments.

The Breithaupt Block will offer 175,000 square feet of trendy commercial space targeted primarily at the high-tech research and creative sectors. The complex will see much of its exterior heritage features maintained with the addition of modern courtyards and drive ways added to break the building up into distinct sites.
