The dog-lovers behind @dogfriendlykw set out on a dog friendly DTK Staycation day in with their pups! In their own words, here are some dog friendly things to do in Downtown Kitchener...
We started our day with a snack and a coffee from Show and Tell! Unfortunately, there are no coffee shops downtown that allow pups inside, but we were happy to take our order to go.
We decided to swing by Dogtopia to see their doggy daycare and boarding facility. We got to meet a handsome pup named Koda who was spending his weekend there. Dogtopia is a great spot if you are looking to socialize your pup while you're at work, or if you need boarding while you're away!
After our pit stop at Dogtopia, we went on a DTK photo art walk, scoping out the best spots to take pictures of the pups. Halls Lane and Goudies Lane were inevitably our favourites!
The weather was pretty dicey, so we were also so grateful to have an indoor option. We went to The Round Table to have some tasty Kingsville Brewery beer, a dessert and played some board games! They also have a new coffee shop inside called Cavan Coffee Kiosk for all your caffeine needs. The pups were welcome inside and rested under the table while we played some Patchwork.
On our way home, we stopped by The Wine Rack to take home some vino to enjoy for the rest of the evening. The staff gave the pups some treats, so they decided this was their favourite stop of the day!
No need to leave your fur friends at home when heading downtown for the day, lots to do with them by your side.
