Friday April 28th: Are you ready for a night of laughter, excitement, and pure entertainment? Look no further than our upcoming comedy and variety show, headlined by the hilarious Brent Butt, with Jon Dore as the charming host and an incredible supporting cast of comedians including Zabrina Douglas, Billy Kidd, and Rock-A-Billy Joe.
The Downtown Kitchener BIA has teamed up with the KW Comedy Festival to help welcome back live Comedy for 2 exclusive shows at THEMUSEUM!
Canadian icon Brent Butt, widely known for his iconic role in the hit Canadian TV show "Corner Gas," is a comedic genius who will have you in stitches with his relatable humour and sharp wit. With years of experience in the comedy world, Brent Butt is a master of delivering punchlines that will leave you rolling with laughter.
Our host for the evening, Jon Dore, is a seasoned comedian with a unique and unforgettable style. With a natural charisma and quick wit, Jon Dore has become a crowd favorite in the Canadian comedy scene. He brings an infectious energy to the stage and will keep the show flowing with his hilarious banter and crowd interactions.
Joining Brent and Jon are incredible supporting acts that are sure to leave a lasting impression. Zabrina Douglas is a fresh face in the comedy scene, but has already made waves with her hilarious and relatable material. Rock-A-Billy Joe is a highly skilled juggler and acrobat. He will have you on the edge of your seats with his incredible stunts! Billy Kidd is a magician and comedian who seamlessly blends the two art forms to create a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
And the best part? Tickets to this unforgettable night of comedy and entertainment are completely free! However, make sure to reserve your ticket in advance, as seats are limited and tickets not redeemed prior to 7:30 pm are not guaranteed a seat. Open Ears is a festival that has become a central pillar of the community, sharing values of innovation and disruption. With a focus on creating unique concert experiences and exploring the art of listening, the festival presents a wide range of events that mix different musical genres, combining composed with improvised music, and integrating community through the use of unexpected musical settings. From indie classical music to electroacoustic to sound installations, Open Ears strives to challenge audiences' conceptions of what 'music' is or what it can be. With a national and international identity, the festival has played a vital role in the contemporary art scene in Waterloo Region.

The region’s tastiest food trucks are taking over King St East in front of the Kitchener Market again this summer! Grab a bite from the variety of food trucks and walk around Downtown Kitchener while browsing local artisanal vendors. Enjoy music, street performers and community-led activities!
All proceeds from King Streatery will support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region (BBBSWR), a community organization committed to helping children and youth in need live their potential.
