Queen St. (between Duke and Charles)  +  Vogelsang Green

graphic rendering of unique lighting

Queen Street, between Charles to Duke, is in need of a makeover.

The corridor and its laneways will become an important pedestrian thoroughfare when ION starts running, and future developments are exploring ways to bring more retail and restaurants to this streetscape.

Check out these possible placemaking initiatives that could totally reimagine the way people use this space!

Unique lighting (above) will make the space more inviting, while moveable furniture allows visitors to customize these laneways to suit their needs. These spaces can be useful for a coffee date, a team meeting or eating some takeout.

Vogelsang Green (right) re-imagined as an open-air ampitheatre for public performances.
