Pay for parking with your phone

Kitchener has introduced a new way to pay for parking downtown with the Passport Parking app. Pay, extend, and manage your parking session. Use the app wherever you see Passport Parking app signs and decals, pay for your parking session from your phone, and be on your way.

Find monthly parking options, payment options, and more information on the City of Kitchener's Parking Options website

Our new licence plate recognition system is now available at all parking garages and surface lots.

Biking

Across Kitchener, you’ll find different types of bike infrastructure. All projects are guided by our Cycling and Trails Master Plan, which focuses on creating a city-wide network of cycling routes and trails that is comfortable for people of “All Ages and Abilities.”

Neuron Mobility e-bikes and e-scooters are available to rent in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. The e-bikes and e-scooters are available mostly in the downtown areas of the three cities and near transit stations.
