44 Gaukel Creative Workspace

44 Gaukel is a shared creative workplace located at the core of Downtown Kitchener. The City of Kitchener operates this creative community through a partnership with anchor tenant ArtsBuild Ontario, a provincial arts service organization dedicated to realizing long-term solutions for arts and creative spaces.

44 Gaukel is an example of innovative space-sharing practice in the Waterloo region. We are a community driven environment that offers affordable, below market rental costs with basic office amenities. We offer both shared and independent studio space – we have something for everyone! Endorsed by Kitchener City Council in 2016, 44 Gaukel aims to grow, support and connect local artists, cultural practitioners, and creative entrepreneurs.
