King Street Unplugged: A Week-Long Pedestrian Block

For one exciting week, King Street in front of City Hall is transforming into a pedestrian block packed with free entertainment, hands-on activities, games, music, dancing, workshops and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends, family and neighbours.

When: July 26–31
Where: King Street in front of City Hall and Carl Zehr Square
Time: Activities begin daily at 11 a.m.
Details: Programming runs throughout the day. Visit the schedule for event times, daily activities and special programming.

Less scrolling, more strolling

Every day, the block will become a place to slow down and enjoy summer.

Grab a seat at a picnic table, challenge someone to a game, cool off in the splash pad, browse local businesses, or soak up the summer vibes.

Daily highlights include:

  • Picnic tables and hangout spaces
  • Drop-in games throughout the day
  • Get delicious food from local businesses and take a seat
  • Splash pad fun (don't forget your towel!)

Analog Summer Mode

Activities Include:

No apps required. Just bring your curiosity, your community spirit and maybe a towel for the splash pad.
