Since 2013, it's been a place to meet people shaping the core through their creativity, culture, and care. From the stories of long-time locals to bold new voices, these stories show what it means to live, work, and build community in DTK.

Art Walk

DTK has always been the cultural heart of Waterloo Region. Alongside previous works of art, the series of oversized outdoor artworks curated by Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery (KWAG) in partnership with the Downtown Kitchener BIA is a great reason to explore public art downtown again. Choose your own adventure at your own pace at the region’s largest outdoor gallery, featuring 50+ murals, sculptures and other installations that beautify DTK’s parks, streets, and laneways.
